Good News Story
Here's a good news story about "stepping
up" (she didn't have to say anything about her business),
allowing people time to decide about what we have to offer,
and having patience. Suzanne's story may not be all that
unusual, but that's why I like it. What do y'all think?

Yay! After
a little dry spell I've got another sign up to report.
She is my tupperware lady, and how it started is a funny story!
I was about to
start a product presentation at my house with a few people there
when my phone rang. I thought it might be someone looking for
directions, so I answered the phone and it was a new Tupperware
lady looking for customers. I told her I couldn't talk
right then because I was about to do a presentation for my home
business, and could she call me back. I said then she
could tell me about her tupperware and I could tell her about
my business. Hey, I figured I had nothing to lose!
So she calls
me back two days later, and after we talk tupperware she said,
"and what about your business?" I told her some
and she was interested in some product info, so I sent her some.
This was in late January.
We talked on
the phone a few times, and I placed a tupperware order with
her and also got orders from a few other people for her (nice
to help out a fellow home business person, and if she makes
enough money, she can buy my algae!)
Finally in early
April she is ready to get together to talk about it with me
and her husband also. We watched the Inside Out video and I
answered questions. They said they think a long time about
things, and would let me know.
Later I made
another Tupperware order and when she called back about it,
I asked how her health was doing now. She said she still
wasn't in good shape, and could we get together to talk again
about Cell Tech products! I went today and she signed
up!

I also enclose
a small map, including written directions to my house.
When I talk to
people I tell them: it is a small group of people who get together,
it's a kind of discussion group, we share around about healthful
things we know. We always learn something new, I share about
superfoods that you can buy in the regular store and mail order.
My yoga instructor
comes sometimes, he has a lot of miscellaneous info too. You
can share or just listen. It's really fun, I hope you can make
it!
Here's how the
Tasting Party goes: there such a heavy emphasis on other foods
(sprouts, grasses) that have some of the same qualities as algae
(chlorophyll, enzymes, high nutrition), that everyone goes away
with a lot of info even if they are not interested in the algae.
However, most are interested in the algae, because it is threaded
throughout the party; added to all recipes, lightly compared
to the sprouts and grasses, etc., and I mention that we started
with the algae and it remains our favorite food. I am actually
re-thinking the placement of Simplexity's Intro Pack video--maybe
I will end the party before showing it, offering those who want
to learn more specifically about algae, to stay to watch it
or take it home. This will make it even more generic. . . do
what you are comfortable doing, this is the key to success!
It is such a
pleasure to be part of a group that is working constructively
together. See you at August Celebration!
Take care, love,
Susan Thompson :)
