Leadership Alliance
Online Forum Guidelines
Revised July 2007
The Leadership Alliance is open to all Simplexity Health Business Associates. The mission of this non profit organization, led by volunteer leaders in the field, is to provide communication, tools, training and support to help create financial freedom for those who choose to build a business, large or small, with Simplexity Health. We share a commitment to professionalism through honesty, integrity, a positive attitude, respect, fairness, flexibility and understanding, with a shared commitment to preventive health for people, pets and plants.
We are also dedicated to having a good time together!
The LA Online Forum, formerly nicknamed the “chat list”, is our primary method for communication, and is one of the privileges of membership in the Leadership Alliance. It is a forum where any LA Member may speak up and share ideas or ask questions of other more experienced leaders. This members-only forum is hosted by Yahoo as a Yahoo Group called “LeadersAlliance" that all new LA members are invited to join at the time their membership is established. It consists of an email list and a password protected web site including an archive of previous messages and other tools that may be useful to Simplexity Health Business Associates.
How to participate, and Who may participate: All members of LA are encouraged to read messages and post their comments. Topics may be about both product and business. It is a place for thoughtful opinions, exchange of ideas and business and health discussions, all with an attitude of professionalism and respect for others. It is expected that the discussion on the Online Forum will be in alignment with the purpose and mission of the Leadership Alliance.
With the participation by such a large group of experienced leaders, the Online Forum is a wonderful resource for business associates at all levels! We hope that you will share your experience with other members through this group. Stories of both success and failure are welcome, so all may learn and benefit.
By its nature, this list represents communication cross line, which can be a challenge in network marketing. We may be one of the few companies that are managing this challenge successfully. We choose to honor others and their ideas and contributions in a way that readily allows everyone to participate. Kindness, courtesy, and respect are the operating values. We offer a place of trust. At the same time, we also encourage an atmosphere of "lively debate". There are people in the Forum with little history of the company as well as those who have been participating for ten, fifteen, twenty or more years. The productive discussion will be clear, supportive, and engaging. This is not a "cheerleading only" forum; all questions can be asked with the professionalism and sincerity that business people share on a daily basis. To support this professionalism, we will return emails that contain any offensive comments about Simplexity Health or other senders.
Questions: Questions often need to be asked and we want to direct them in the most helpful way. Before posting, remember to ask yourself if the question will help to clarify things and/or be useful to others as well as yourself.
- When in doubt, first go upline in your own group to the next active Leader you can find and ask that person. If they don't know the answer, their commitment to you, their downline, is usually to find out. If you cannot reach your upline, you may also check with Customer Service.
- If it is a question regarding the company or company policy, call or email Customer Service and ask them, or check the Simplexity Health web site for your answer.
Handling Rumors: A big challenge to an organization like ours with a wide variety of experience among its participants can be the rumors that spread quickly, especially with today’s rapid communication on the internet. Before jumping into the conversation, it's always a good idea to ask "What is the source of the rumor?”
- If it's about the product or company, it will be a good question to ask on the customer service form. Someone at Simplexity Health will be sure to reply. If the response is helpful to you, it may be to others, and you may want to share it with the field.
- If it is a rumor about something in the field, first ask your sponsor or next active Upline Leader for an answer, or customer service.
Moderating: Our organization is dedicated to professionalism in our business in every way. We will continue to support each member in training all members to demonstrate our commitment to each other and to our customers. The moderators review all messages when they are submitted. Messages that need to be better aligned with these guidelines may be returned to the sender for further reflection and refinement. Moderators may also communicate with the sender of a message to assist in modifying the questionable message or to suggest that it be directed to their upline or the Home Team. The purpose of such actions is to retain a highly professional environment for all business associates.
